Betfred Enters Social Casino Market With the Launch of a New App
UK bookmaker, Betfred Ltd. has announced that they have also entered into the social gaming arena. The company has developed a new app in partnership with the London- based studio, Caleta Gaming. Caleta gaming is the same company that was responsible for many popular products such as the Brasingo social slot game.
Betfred has moved to expand its services to include offerings such as products in the social gaming sector. The mobile application that has been developed in partnership with Caleta Gaming has aptly been names Betfred Social.
Betfred Social is now live for online, mobile and tablet play. The platform features a range of free- to- play slot titles, bingo games, as well as digital blackjack. Customers using the mobile app will also be able to access exclusive products such as Betfred Bonus King Blackjack and other Magical Clover games. In the coming months two other titles, Jungle Beauty and Day at the Races will also be added to the portfolio of Betfred Social.
Unlike many other companies, Betfred allows their customers to use their services without the hassle of registering a new account with the company. Registration process for most companies include a multi- step process of entering personal details, such as name, address and banking information. Users at Betfred Social can access the casino services via their active Facebook account, without the need to open yet another one with the bookmaker.
Like many other social gaming services, the online casino players will be able to collect hourly and daily coin bonuses. They will also be able to boost their chances of winning by purchasing extra in- game currency that can be wagered at many of the multiple options. Finally, players will be able to send their Facebook friends free coins that can similarly be used to play games.
Betfred’s New App
The new app has been made available for iOS and Android users. It is now available on Google Play, the Apple App Store and also through Facebook.
Andrew Horne the Head of content at Betfred Ltd., said at the launch of Betfred Social, “We are very excited to offer this social casino to a wide audience and want all players to have fun and enjoy playing Betfred Social.”
This venture marks the operator’s second foray into social gaming. In 2012, Betfred partnered with social football games developer, We R Interactive to launch their first social gaming product. This saw the brand featured in the game I AM PLAYR, a title which saw users take on the role of a professional footballer.
Betfred’s development partner for its latest offering, Caleta Gaming, is also no novice to social gaming. They are the people behind the popular slot game title of Brasingo. Brasingo is a social slot game. The game follows players progress through different environments, while spinning the wheel to see slot numbers line up. The game takes them on a journey through famous regions and landmarks in Brazil.
The company has many other successful games on their portfolio. They were responsible for the social slot app, Islands of Fortune, as well as another one names Khamsa Poker.
