Pokerstars’ New Megastack Series Expands to Four New Countries in Europe
Amaya Inc.’s PokerStars brand has announced that they will be expanding their reach. The world’s largest online cardroom, PokerStars, and its popular new tournament series, Megastack, is due to come to poker venues in Ireland, Belgium, Malta and France.
According to the Amaya Inc. brand, the company decided on to expand their Megastack services to more European destinations, due to their successful debut in the United Kingdom.
The new live tournament series launched in the UK, earlier this year in April. The product went live at the Hippodrome casino in London. The service attracted more than 520 entries in the short time since its opening. There is little doubt that this will now to become a live poker staple in some of Europe’s favourite destinations.

PokerStars’ Megastack events are largely aimed at recreational players. The tournament series offers a space for players to get comfortable at their tables and develop their skills without breaking the bank.
The series is also designed to bring live poker to the players’ doorsteps at a low buy- in prices. A series of online satellite tournaments will offer players the chance to qualify for the live events with buy- ins as little as EUR €1.10.
